Fischer Ranger 108 Skis 2024

The Ranger 108 is a more playful soft snow ski that doesn't mind if you push it harder on hard pack and feels relatively smooth over turbulent snow. It's stable, predictable, pivots easily, and it's a blast to ski in deeper, softer snow. Not the best groomer ski out there but one of the best options for skiers who hunt for softer, deeper snow.

A weapon in softer snow while also offering a surprising amount of performance when conditions are less than ideal.

GOT ME LIKE SHEEEESH.

The new Fischer Ranger 108 is a much better ski than previous versions. The older Ranger Ti models were built for hard-charging and they weren't easy to ski at lower speeds, awesome skis but they lacked accessibility and were a touch demanding if you weren't pushing it hard. The new Ranger 108 is a little less powerful feeling than older versions of the ski but it has a much more usable power band and it pivots and gets through tighter terrain more effortlessly. Fischer has done a great job putting enough metal into this ski to keep it stable and confident over more firm terrain or at higher speeds, but this ski shines in some softer, deeper conditions. If you're looking for a well-rounded, softer snow ski, there aren't many options out there better than the new Fischer Ranger 108.

Who's this ski for? Skiers looking for a powder ski that can get down surprisingly well on groomers.

Who isn't this ski for? Skiers who prioritize groomer performance and stability.

The Test Crew

We test products year round in order to curate the best gear for you.

The Ranger 108 does everything a more playful powder ski should while also having enough stability, grip, and power for the days that aren't perfect pow days. It's maneuverable in tight terrain, easy to balance on, offers a ton of float, and grips well enough for harder snow scenarios.
